ahh well winter is here …yep…I can’t fool myself that we may have some warm weather again….not for 6 or 7 months ……..It’s very pretty….BUT….now…it’s hats, coats, mittens, boots, salt dragged in, ice storms, sitting and waiting for a truck to warm up, and walking like a duck……hah

I woke to this pretty little scene this morning….The dots that showed up on the pic…must have been from the flash bouncing off the snowflakes…and I like it!!

Oh …and the McCain bus…was just his bus…and his bus driver….with ….get this…..cardboard cutouts of Palin and McCain that you could have your picture taken with..
ummmm….Lame!….
So my 2 second brush with fame…was just a 2 second brush with “Joe the bus driver”….

ok off to get the morning started….coffee…..and to work for me….I have many things to finish up…

I just went to town….to mail a box….and drove by the court house…John McCain’s Straight talk express was just pulling out from the front of it..Was it John McCain…or was it just his bus?
hmmmm…dunno…but it was kind of fun to see it…

( this is not an endorsement for him in any way ….just an observation)

I live in a family of all MEN! Stupidly I asked their opinion on some snowmen cones I was making…
The simple question I asked ( I was adding some snow texture to the cones) was…Snow? OR no Snow?
Simple right?? You would think so……
The answers I got were
1. Why is there a head in a cone?
2. Is it a ice creme cone?
3. The snow looks dirty!
4. Hey can’t ya put the head in the other hole so it looks like a body?
5. Why did you paint under the snow? Isn’t that a waste of paint??
6. Why don’t you wake up Drew and ask him??
I walked away…..hearing behind me….laughter….The snots!
The moral of the story is….”just don’t ask”!

Well….I am not going to be sitting outside to have my morning coffee anymore it seems!! …I woke to this lovely surprise…..actually not really a surprise as it did snow a bit yesterday..but nothing stuck to the ground…
The summer went fast…and fall went even faster!!!

I don’t suppose winter will do the same..hmmmmm?
NOT!!

I know some people really love the snow….but………………I’m just not one of them…..so why do I live here?
Shrugs……who knows…

Oh and also ..I did create a new selling blog ..(why? again who knows…) but you can click the link to view what is NEW!!

Yep……..a little bit of very “thick rain” was just falling outside….ugh!

I just finished up this special order angel…I love all her “fluff”! too cute..

Today was for running to the cemetery’s for a last of the summer cleaning up….It was a beautiful day for a ride ..blue sky’s and leaves blowing….Perfect…

I have tons to do this week before I go away on the weekend….It’s time for a visit to Maryland….Have a good day all…

I woke shivering this morning….26 degrees out and ice on the ground….brrrrr….I think fall is done….and winter is kicking in…
So it was a good day to stay in and create…(which I did) ….and a good night to lay around and watch a movie…
Tonights movie (because I was home alone and could watch a chic flic without anyone groaning at me) “sex and the city”..
It’s been one of my favorite shows to watch and I finally got around to doing a pay per view of it tonight…I loved it….lots of laughs.. and a few tears…Perfect!

Now a few more hours of work then to bed with a book…..I think I may need another blanket tonight…It’s already dipping down to the low 30’s out there…
I’m not looking forward to the cold…or the heat bill….ugh…

Sn0.b0dy is about 17 inches from the tip of his wire legs and bell to the top of his hat…He’s made from painted and distressed osnaburg, quilt shoppe dark green and creme stripped fabrics…Paper garland and rusted bells adds whimsie to him…
